Quang Ninh Culinary Festival 2024 with the theme “Quang Ninh – Destination of culinary quintessence” will become an attractive destination for tourists.
From December 26 to 29, 2024, Sun Carnival Plaza Square, Bai Chay Ward, Ha Long City, will host the special event Quang Ninh Food Festival 2024. The event is chaired by the Quang Ninh Department of Tourism, in coordination with relevant departments, agencies, sectors and units, promising to bring a unique, diverse and attractive culinary cultural space.
Quang Ninh Food Festival 2024 includes a series of new and attractive activities, such as: Exhibition and introduction of cuisine and typical traditional products and specialties of localities in the province and other provinces and cities representing the three regions of Vietnam North – Central – South at 200 booths; art programs, culinary art performances, and unique cocktail mixing by famous chefs and artisans.
Halong tour. This is a meaningful activity, an opportunity for localities and tourism businesses in and outside Quang Ninh province to strengthen connections, exchange and learn experiences in developing cuisine into a unique tourism product, attracting tourists and becoming a typical brand of Quang Ninh tourism.
With the goal of turning cuisine into a typical tourism product, Quang Ninh hopes to attract a large number of domestic and foreign tourists, contributing to affirming the province’s position on the Vietnam tourism map.
This year’s food festival is held at a special time, when Quang Ninh is gradually overcoming the consequences of storm Yagi in September. The severe damage from the storm has greatly affected the local tourism industry, but this event is a testament to the determination of the local government and business community to overcome difficulties.
Organizing the Food Festival at the end of the year is an important step to promote tourism recovery with the goal of welcoming 19 million visitors in 2024. The event is expected to attract about 120,000 tourists.
